Yoga is a low-impact exercise that uses controlled body movement through postures designed to relax or manipulate the body. Combined with breathing techniques with these postures improves muscle flexibility and endurance. Practicing yoga each day and greatly improve your bodies longevity, balance, calm your mind, reduce stress and more.

Yoga has been around for hundreds of years and has thousands of benefits. Each posture has different variations to accommodate every single body type, age and ability. It is proven, people that practice yoga regularly live longer and have a better quality of life.

Yin yoga is a type of slow-paced yoga that is comprised of easy body postures or asanas that are kept for a longer time period. For beginners, it can range from 45 seconds up to two minutes, while for professionals they can hold a position for 5 minutes or so.

This allows the body to truly relax into each posture and gives enough time the body needs to release, restore and naturally let the body heal its self from the day to day use it goes through.
